The National Association of Indigenous Institutes of Higher Learning (NAIIHL) serves Indigenous-owned and controlled organizations (educational institutes, colleges, university colleges, universities) offering post-secondary education or training courses
NAIIHL is mandated to support our members' self-realization through the promotion and enhancement of Indigenous languages and cultures
NAIIHL's vision is to advance, advocate, and support post-secondary, technical, adult and related Indigenous education for the betterment of our institutions, communities, and people
The goals of the National Association of Indigenous Institutes of Higher Learning are:
to promote Indigenous control of adult and higher education for Indigenous people;
to promote the perpetuation of Indigenous cultures and languages in adult and higher education;
to support members in attaining their stated goals and objectives; and
to provide advocacy services, conduct research, develop proposals, and co-participate in Indigenous research as required by our members.
