Initiatives
NAIIHL promotes the protection and implementation of inherent Aboriginal and Treaty Rights to education across what is now called Canada.
Our organization honours the individual autonomy of the member institutions and seeks to facilitate a collective strategy to secure funding to resource Indigenous education initiatives
NAIIHL is committed to supporting the establishment of Indigenous-controlled places of learning with the capacity to function in all provinces and territories on Turtle Island and aims to provide assistance and advice to member post-secondary organizations to facilitate their successful operations.
